Will this colander fit my sink?

The colander adjusts from 14 to 19 inches long and measures 7.9 inches wide × 2.75 inches high.

Measure across the sink opening in the direction you plan to place it. The colander needs to extend beyond the opening so both ends rest securely on the sink edges. Allow room for that support—an opening measuring 19 inches across would be too wide.

Check that taps, dividers or curved edges will not prevent it from sitting securely.

What can I use this sink colander for?

Use it to rinse fruit, vegetables and herbs, drain cooked pasta and vegetables, or air-dry utensils, cups and small plates. Its expandable design lets you work over the sink while keeping counter space clear.

Can I use it to rinse rice or quinoa?

No. The drainage holes measure up to 5 mm, so rice, quinoa and other small grains can pass through. Use a fine-mesh strainer for these foods.

Is the sink colander dishwasher safe?
